AUGSBURG, Germany – to get the tangible sight of the industry latest development directions and meet some of the leading elevator customers with whom relationships have been enhanced. These are the goals achieved at Interlift 2017, where OMET Systems in Motion has confirmed its remarkable position, distinguishing itself for experience, technology and product customization capability.

The fair, bringing together leading international manufacturers, suppliers and service companies of the elevators industry, has increased the number of exhibitors in 574 booths, of which 71% are foreigners, on an area of 44,000m². Italy was the second country after Germany with 96 stands, ahead China, Spain and Turkey.

"Our strength lies in the ability to create customized solutions," says Giovanna Maglia, sales manager and key account at OMET Systems in Motion. "So not just bearings, but complete integrated solutions that can satisfy every type of customer needs, even the most complex and critical. At the fair, we have consolidated our relationship with several historical partners and looked at new opportunities, and we will certainly continue to move in this direction. "

The fair has marked several changes in the elevator industry, including the growing presence of mobility systems and modernization systems with innovations linked to the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0.

"It is focused increasingly on digitalization and wireless systems for the assistance and the rescue," says Paolo Spreafico, sales manager and key account for several countries including Turkey and Russia, "even though our business sector is rather steady. At our stand interesting visits of historical clients took place, especially from Russia". A trend also confirmed by Giuseppe Iarusso, Italy's area manager at OMET Systems in Motion: "The flow of visitors to the fair was lower than the usual, but more qualified. However, it is always important to take part in trade fairs, to stay up to date with the industry trend and to give to the Market the message that OMET is still there and will be in the years coming.

At the stand, the visitors had the possibility to meet members of OMET Systems in Motion team and OMET's CEO, Antonio Bartesaghi. This year the presence of young collaborators was strong to whom the Company gave the chance to participate as a valuable training opportunity.

The synergy with the company ASTRA, specialized in the production of safety contacts for the lifts doors with which OMET shares part of the booth, has once again proved to be positive, enabling to enter the negotiations immediately by offering an integrated package of solutions.
