Ceramic displays

Resistance is the key word for bearings intended for ceramic displays, that must support a considerable static load without deforming despite the reduced movements to which they are subjected. OMET Systems in Motion designs and manufactures wheels of various shapes, sizes and materials for this sector, guaranteeing fluidity of movement, flatness minimizing plastic and a perfect adaptability to the applications of the customers. The product can be completely customized in order to adapt to the rails of the displays and it can be produced using the materials that best suit the needs of the customers, from polyurethane to glass fiber. OMET has set up testing laboratories where it performs specific tests, studied and defined in collaboration with the customer. The main external finishing treatment is galvanizing.

Treatments with different surface finishes (chrome plating, galvanising, zinc-tropicalisation and burnishing).

Bearings made of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and 100CR6 but OMET offers the possibility of using any material depending on the application, the customer specifications and use.

Specific and customised tests to guarantee that the sliding systems work correctly over time, also in collaboration with qualified external entities (static and dynamic load testing and corrosion resistance tests).

Possibility of creating any kind of shape of the outer coating (V-shaped, U-shaped, convex, concave, flat, particular radius) in any colour, both in a classical configuration (with a hole or thread) or provided with a joint which facilitates its use in curved profiles.

Developing and testing products directly at OMET, with customised tests on the application that the customer may provide.

Advice on the design of new products, development of new plastic materials or production technologies.
