Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the basic values of OMET, which always pays attention to its stakeholders and to the environmental and social context which it operates in. OMET invests particularly on improving the quality of life of its employees and associates, helping them achieve better work-life balance while seeking to create value in the territory.

From one perspective, these actions are undertaken for a strong ethical sense and from another, based on the belief that investing in human resources is the best way to retain talent: the value of a company is found in its people, and in them lies the possibility to grow and be successful.

OMET is very attentive to the territory: it contributes to the improvement of the technical equipment found in the schools in Lecco; it offers opportunities of internships and apprenticeships, and sponsors events at various levels, favouring those with educational purposes and intended to facilitate the closeness of the schools with work. OMET offers its personnel different types of financial and conciliatory support. Scholarships are awarded to the children of employees, whereas fuel vouchers, time-saving services such as delivery of bread, milk, medicines and personal parcels to the company, laundry services and tyre changing services are given to the employees.
