OMET SYSTEMS IN MOTION TOWARDS THE RUSSIAN ELEVATOR WEEK

OMET Systems in Motion will also be attending the Russian Elevator Week scheduled in Moscow, at the VDNH Exhibition Centre (Pavilion 75) from 26 to 28 June 2019. The fair is the main event in the sector for the Russian area and countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), bringing together all the innovations in the field of handling systems and providing valuable networking opportunities.

Technological innovations, new materials and new products to ensure customers ever better performance and increasingly customised solutions. OMET Systems in Motion will present itself at the Russian Elevator Week with the aim of consolidating contacts and its market position in a key area for the sector that has been its core business for more than 50 years.

OMET will attend the fair with a 20 sqm stand next to the that of Astra Srl, which specialises in the production of safety contacts for lift doors. The consolidated partnership between the two companies enables us to provide advanced, efficient and integrated technological solutions, which include equipment for electrical and safety control (Astra Srl) and roller systems (OMET Srl).

Since 1963, OMET has been designing and manufacturing ball bearings and complete handling systems used in several industrial sectors. It has been supplying technopolymer coated ball bearings and complete solutions for the lift door sector for a number of years, standing out on the market thanks to Italian technology, as well as safe and high performance products. It has a ‘tailor-made’ approach, with bespoke solutions for any customer need.

The main office of OMET Systems in Motion is in Valmadrera (Lecco), in Northern Italy. In the early 2000s, OMET Suzhou Mechanical Co. Ltd was opened in Wujiang, one of the fastest-growing urban districts in the whole of China and a key distribution hub on the continent for multinational customers with production sites in Asia.
